The hours of this local market are short; vendors start peddling their wares as early as 6am, and pack up around noon.
So we arrived early. We wanted ample time to browse through the wares. We were rather pleased with the array of knick knacks, vintage items, and antiques, and I had to stop myself from picking up yet another film camera and some vintage crockery.
This is one of those insanely photogenic cafes that I visited with Katie on one of my trips to Taipei, with cute stuff in every corner of the cafe.
It was not the best of weather to visit Yang Ming Shan, it being the middle of summer, but the view up there was so lush and green it left no room for complaints.
