… leaving me with these double-exposed pictures at Tanah Lot.
Delicious, cheap, and plenty is how I would describe the seafood meal we had at Jimbaran Beach, Bali. The above picture was taken not long after we sat down at our table, and I never had the chance to take another sunset picture that day for my attention was entirely on our dinner. More pictures of it over at Curating Cuteness.
Browsing my Bali photos is a reminder of how quickly time is slipping by. It has been more than half a year since we were there playing the part of the tourist at the GWK Cultural Park.
It has been alternating between hot and wet here lately, and all I really want to do is hit the beach on a good-weather day. We had one such day at Nusa Dua back in Apr. Not everyone I know enjoy this beach, home to expensive resorts in the south-eastern part of Bali. But we got lucky. The beach was almost secluded when we arrived. I hadn’t sat in the sea in a very long time, and it felt good to do just that in the company of friends, the breeze, and the waters.
I took but one roll of film on the Superheadz while holidaying in Sydney. Most were borne out of spontaneity, at the moment when I tell myself, this is what I want to remember of this place.
