Gardens by the Bay – Part 3

F1000026

The Gardens by the Bay was showcasing 20,000 tulips flown in from the Netherlands in the earlier part of this year.  While I did enjoy the vibrant colours of these flowers, I wish I could step into a real tulip field!

Gardens by the Bay – Part 2

I will be sharing photos from Gardens by the Bay in a few posts. These are taken in the Flower Dome. It is a conservatory designed to replicate the cool and dry climate of Mediterranean regions, so that plants from all over the globe can thrive in tropical Singapore.

Gardens by the Bay – Part 1

Every now and then, I would hop onto the train and alight at Promenade Station for a stroll at the Gardens by the Bay. It surprises me how I could always find enough space and quiet there to collect my thoughts, even though it is a major tourist spot. I was there by myself just yesterday, and being able to manoeuvre my way among the greens and taking pictures at a leisurely pace gave me so much satisfaction.
