This one time in Bangkok, we stayed at a boutique hostel. It was so intricately put together I would’ve gone away with only great memories of it, but as luck would have it, I lost my new tablet computer in the room, got so upset over the handling of the issue, and never went back again.
Side note: I am surprised my expired Solaris 100 film turned out at all!
My first time in Hua Hin, south of Bangkok. I was so tired from the long train ride and sweaty from the punishing afternoon heat that I put my camera away more than I would have liked.
I always come back to this picture above and fall in love with Taitung all over again.
We were not great cyclists then (or now, but better), so one of our proudest moments was braving our fears to cycle in Taitung. We couldn’t really have it any other way; this place was too huge to explore on foot.
Whenever I’m in Taipei, I try to visit another city in Taiwan. This trip, Taitung is it. Located on the south-eastern part of Taiwan, this is the third largest county in the country. And more importantly for me, its blend of mountains on one side and the sea on the other really makes for amazing scenery. More pictures in upcoming posts.
