This one time in Bangkok, we stayed at a boutique hostel. It was so intricately put together I would’ve gone away with only great memories of it, but as luck would have it, I lost my new tablet computer in the room, got so upset over the handling of the issue, and never went back again.
Side note: I am surprised my expired Solaris 100 film turned out at all!
These are from the laat Bangkok trip we took, where we had a fair bit of luck when we ended up outside Vanilla Cafe after making a wrong turn. I’ve read a lot about it, so naturally, I was thrilled to visit it. Located in a quiet corner in Ekkamai 12, the cafe was decorated with books, retro furniture and knick knacks, and comes with a satisfying range of Japanese desserts. Perfect for afternoon tea.
Cute shops like these keep popping up in Bangkok, enticing me to return to the city. Always.
If you cannot resist cute knick knacks, succulents, and scones, I think you’ll love Spoonful Zakka Cafe, the cafe that brings all these together in one space.
