I’m Evelyn, and this is is pretty much my online journal, a space where I indulge in film photography, mull over quotes, and document my travels – some of my favourite thing to do in the world.

  1. Really lovely and sharp photos you have here! 🙂 The Superheadz UWS also jumpstarted my love for film. Had to comment here just because we sort of have the same history in taking photos in digital and film. Enjoying all your posts 🙂

  2. Hi Evelyin. Thank u for ur kind comment on my blog, it really means me a lot. I don’t know almost anything about film cameras and I m glad I can read and see a lot here. I went through some posts (mostly travels) today at my work (it was on and off:)) and loved everything and really looking forward to see more. It s pleasure to see part of what somebody else loves, it moves and inspires. Greets!

  3. chance upon your blog as i was searching for places to go in taichung. i must say that your blog was a pleasant find! love the pics! it inspires me to take up photography again 🙂 cheerios!

    • Hi Jo, it is always nice to hear of people being inspired by my blog. Likewise, I am always looking to be inspired by the works of others. Do share your blog if you take up photography again! 🙂

  4. I found your blog through another film photography enthusiast, curatingcuteness.com when she posted about the blogs she follows. I own a Canon a1 too that my dad gave to me(sort of) and after i saw your photos i was like woahh. the magic you could do with an a1. And i was inspired to be more dedicated to this camera since before I stumbled upon your blog I was in a dilemma of whether i should get another film camera for backup or smth. anyway. ahaha. I LOVE your blog. Got me really excited about film photography again.

    • Hi sarah! Happy to know that more and more people are rediscovering film 🙂 I myself made the decision to purchase an A1 after stumbling upon another’s photos taken with the same camera. Even though I’ve gone on to acquire a few others cameras, the A1 is special in that it rooted my passion for film. I hope it ignites the same passion in you. Happy shooting; I hope you discover lots of good things through film! 🙂
