We veered off East Coast Road the other day, and found ourselves on Ceylon Road where the Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple is situated. The Hindu temple was built in the mid-19th century.

  1. These are incredible! The temple is such a magnificent structure – and I can’t believe you’ve managed to spot the only elephant looking in a different directions!
I love all the details that decorate the temple!

    • I am not familiar with this religion, but from what I read, the elephant is a religious and sacred symbol for Hindus. One of the most worshipped god is the Elephant God, or Lord Ganesha, which represents wisdom 🙂
