Festive in Chinatown

Chinatown  is extremely crowded during the Chinese New Year period, but still we make our way there every year. By the time we break out of the flow of human traffic, we normally end up at the start of the open-air food street along Smith Street. The food prices may be steeper on the whole, but I always look forward to a plate of Chai Tow Kway (fried carrot cake) when I am there.
