[Taipei] Bopiliao 剝皮寮 and vicinity

Negative0-18-19A(1)

(Canon A1)

I like old buildings. They bear the markings of bygone years, like the thin cracks on walls and the rusty window grilles. It is hardly surprising then that I would take an interest in Bopiliao Street.

Bopiliao is one of the oldest streets in Taiwan, and just minutes from the famous Longshan Temple in the Wanhua district. Along the way, we stopped outside a pet shop and played with a cat in the display window. We had a (really) good laugh before we continued on our way. It was such a perfectly random and carefree afternoon, that when we stood on the bridge and watched the sun set, I felt thankful for the day.
